RECAP; Fair Hill NRMA, Night Ride 1-31-13

Gravel Grinder with Jimmie V & Jim Ireland provided much needed relief from indoor trainer and spin class. It was a little blustery, yet not too cold last night as we circumnavigated Fair Hill on the Blue diamond trails. Jimmie V lead the way up some gravel rollers and climbs and Jim and I talked about our upcoming Ride Leaders Committee meeting (See; "events" page). Down near Smith bridge we heard some rumblings in the woods and then a high pitch squeal as we rode by. As we continues up the gravel road to Gallaher, our curiousity got the better of us, so we circled back to find a couple of Bow hunters making their way out of the woods towards the parking lot, ve-ry int-er-est-ing?? We also talked about the North west quadrant of the park and possible future connections to Spring Lawn on the North end of the park, alot of potential out there! See ya next week, same bat time, same bat place....

The Blue Diamond trail had my heart rate up.  I'm glad Chris talked me into the ride.  Definitely more fun then not riding.

Road and Cross Community might be into a Blue Diamond Night Ride.
