Rittenhouse Trail?

Anyone here familiar with the Rittenhouse Trail in Newark? Mainly want to know if it's rideable and if it really dumps you out at Elkton Road. I live nearby and it could make a nice alternative to road riding down Rt 4 if Google Maps is correct about the trail.

Yep. Rittenhouse is ridable

Yep. Rittenhouse is ridable and will take you to Elkton road. It even goes beyond Elkton Road, crosses Barksdale Road and ends at W. Church Road. It is clear from end to end (i cut a bunch of stuff out last weekend).  Just a heads up....it is not like riding WC/MR. It is a bit wilder and less maintained.  There are some rooty and rocky sections.  I use it as a way to connect Iron Hill to WC or even Fair Hill with a little bit of road riding.   Check it out.  You may like it!

That's awesome, thanks for

That's awesome, thanks for the post and for your work keeping it clear. That basically runs from my house to my parents house on the other side of town, wish I knew about it sooner. No worries about rocks and roots, I've got just the bike for that...
