Trail Maintenance and Other Support Activities |
| Why do Trail Maintenance? Everyone who uses the trails in public lands has the moral obligation to give something back - something to help maintain these trails. For example, at Fair Hill and Middle Run, anyone can do simple, but important trail maintenance activities - such as trimming back the pickers - at any time. See how to join our new Adopt-A-Trail Program! Work parties are scheduled at See the specific schedules below. Bring work gloves and solid foot wear. Contact the sponsor for additional details on what tools to bring and what the projects will be. The Delaware Trail Spinners and Park officials organize more substantial trail maintenance activities from time to time. Activites such as building bridges, rerouting trails, and building new trails must only be done with the permission of the land management. |
