Join us Sunday, May 27 at 9 AM at Area 2 of Lums Pond State Park for Sunday Dirt Church. Trail Spinners Dirt Church rides will be held on the fourth Sunday of each month and will feature a different trail system in our area. Never ridden Lums Pond before? This is a great opportunity to learn a new trail system from folks who know the trails very well. This is a no-drop ride with a pace suitable for all riders and ages.

We had 11 people today so we covered Priority 1 and 2. Would have liked to cover a couple more areas. Maybe next month.

Ken Robinson, Ken Cox, Johny Melita, Ryan Sutherland, Blake Chambersm and Meinrad Leckie handled Priority 1 (Lenape and Double Horseshoe). Thanks for all your hard effort.

Great turnout with 40+ volunteers.

Thank you Bob Oswald, Ken Cox, Mike Johnston, Bob Gaston, Dave Duncan, and Karl Lehman for leading today.  Definitely helped us get the crews out of the parking lot quick.

Thanks to every who gave up some riding time today so our next ride is a little more enjoyable.

I attended a meeting regarding the Tri-Valley Project.  My notes are in the PDF file that is attached.

In a nutshell, there are pros and cons to this project.

The primary concerns for me are the width of the trail, the "upgrade" of singletrack (hardened surface, not asphalt), and the material (asphalt) proposed for use throughout the trail.

The positive: access to the Big Pond area.  More all-weather trail.

So, read the notes and decide for yourself.  But, whatever your opinion, make sure you attend the open house and you voice your opinion.
